VIDEO PROJECTS

Sometimes when inspiration hits (or when I'm really bored) I'll work on a video project. I've always enjoyed editing and have pursued it in
work and freelance projects. Occasionally, when there's downtime I like to exercise my creative muscle in that area with any haphazard idea
I think of or justideas that seem like a good one at the time. So I thought I would highlight some of the projects from my YouTube Channel
- the one that I use to share these kind of projects with the world. I've had this channel for quite some time and have accumulated a decent
sizednumber of subscribers, which I'm thrilled at. It's very satisfying that there are some people out there who are interested in watching
these and who are curious as to what will be added.

With most of everything, the longer you do something, the better you get at it. Some of the earliest projects I did on there I would never
have posted now. I can't really watch them and if I do I'll scrutinize the heck out of them- I'm my own worst critic. But there are recent
projects that I've been happy with at how they came out and don't really have many complaints about them. Here are a few...

NEW Wonder Woman Film Trailer!

With every superhero getting their own big budget film there has been one huge noticeable absence – Wonder Woman. The most famous female superhero hasn’t really been seen since Lynda Carter’s memorable portrayal of her in her self-titled 70’s television show. Since then she’s disappeared from the live action format. Eventually she probably will get her big screen update, but until then check out my imagined film trailer as to what things might look like. Of course Lynda Carter is back in the role, since she still is Wonder Woman to most fans.

Holy Bat Trailer!

The revolving door of actors that have stepped into the role of millionaire Bruce Wayne aka Batman, fans have seen the good, the bad and the ugly. But over forty years later Adam West is still viewed by many as the actor most closely associated with the role, no matter how silly he might have played it. Here now is a skewered look at how 2008’s The Dark Knight might have played out in the West-World of Gotham City. With Burt Ward, Ceasar Romero, Alan Napier and Neil Hamliton in their respective roles. The story is basically the same - the Joker unleashes a wave of chaos on the citizens of Gotham and only Batman can stop it!

Red Dawn (1985) Updated Trailer

Before Hollywood gets its wolverine claws into the upcoming remake, I thought I would revist the 1985 film with this updated trailer for it. With a cast consisting of then young upcoming stars (Patrick Swayze, Charlie Sheen, C. Thomas Howell, Jennifer Grey, Lea Thompson) director John Millius threw them in the middle of the ultimate Cold War fear. Red Dawn ended up being the first PG-13 rated film and would earn the distinction of being one of the most violent films ever at the time.

I'm not sure how a remake set in modern day will be. I think the scenario of America being invaded is something that would be just too hard to swallow today. The original film used the premise at the perfect time to prey on America's fears. Today those fears have shifted and I'm not sure how believable or how willing audiences will be to go along with the idea. As of now I think the idea is just another example of yet another tired remake that will simply stick young, attractive actors in the roles and essentially add nothing to the orignal idea and will be quietly forgotten about while the original will endure. But maybe I'll be proved wrong.

The remake is due for release in November 2010.

The Three Stooges AS the A-Team!

Hey, I would have watched it!

EXCLUSIVE HAPHAZARD VIDS!

I haven't been able to provide a showcase on YouTube for some projects that I've done. Having a place to be able to share them was one of the main reasons I wanted to create this page. It's really no fun not having a place to show these off after the work that went into creating them. I hope to add more as time goes on. But check them out, just click on the pics!
